Nigeria is currently passing through a very difficult time security-wise.Security hasn't been this bad since the bloody civil war,so this question arises;is there any end to this menace?
Everyday,we are greeted with news of bombings,kidnappings,maiming,lynching,stealing and assassinations which is very bad for the image of this country.We are tired of sleeping with one eye closed.
Some people totally lost hope in our security system, when it headquarters was bombed.What a disgrace.If the headquarters can be attacked bombed with little or no resistance,what about the average citizens?
And from the looks of things,it doesn't seem as if the government is ready to tackle these insecurity problems.
Some days ago, I read about a story on how the federal government signed a contract with a Chinese firm on the procurement of cctv cameras in 2010.Imagine since 2010, the cameras hasn't been been completely installed in Abuja.They continue to toy with the lives of the citizens because of their greed.Very Pathetic of our leaders.Yet they continue to say that our security is improving when the amount of bombings, lynching and kidnappings have doubled.God help us.
Who/what do think caused our current security problems?do u think there is a way out?do you think the present administration can contain this problem?
