Ever since Nigeria got her independence in 1960,we have never generated above 4000 mega watts of electricity.Isn't it embarrassing for a country with an ever growing population and calls herself the giant of Africa?
Undermining the huge amount of money being invested yearly by successive P.D.P governments in the last 13 years,power seems to have worsened instead of improving.It was well documented that during the Obasanjo administration,over $16 billion dollars was spent on power yet we couldn't even produce above 3000 mega watts.This is the kind of country we live in.Nobody has been asked on how that huge amount of money was spent.
Now for the first time our power sector is improving, the person that is responsible for the improvement,was removed for no reasonable reason.It seems the generator importing cabal that know they will go out of business once we have constant power.It also seems like our thieving politicians will never be happy seeing their non-government citizen with no money to run their generators 24/7 have constant power.
